2015: Why PDP will fail in Niger

The political climate is now gathering momentum and the permutation
has shown that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and stakeholders are
allegedly nursing fear, panic ahead of the 2015 election.
Sources close to government house in Minna has revealed that the
recent Niger east senatorial by-election that was almost claimed by
the All Progress Congress (APC) candidate Barrister David Umar has now
become a lesson for the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in
Niger state where the Chief Servant almost allegedly having sleepless
night politically calculating ahead of 2015.
Other sources close to the Chief Servant, Muazu Babangida Aliyu told
Desert Herald in Minna that the Major fear of the Governor now is how
the he calculated that Niger east is PDP and APC 50-50 fifty-fifty and
Niger North is APC 100% while he said PDP in Niger South is 100% now
the calculation shows that PDP may loss governorship and the Niger
East Senatorial election for APC.
From Lambata axis of Suleja emirate in Gurara Local Government Area of
Niger State it was after the recent Niger East Senatorial by-election
that the Chief Servant, Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu who recently
debunked senatorial ambition insinuation now becomes a thing of
reality that Governor Aliyu is finally gunning for senatorial race
come 2015.
In Chanchaga, Local Government Area of Niger State it was equally
disclosed to the Desert Herald that a meeting which was held at the
Chanchaga town-hall which have commissioners SSA, SA, both present and
old political office holders plus the present Chanchaga Local
Government Council, Mr. Sallawu Co-jointly endorses the Chief Servant
Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu for Senate come 2015 the endorsement later
generated mix-feeling insults, youths descend on Aliyu.
Another one was at Gurara Local Government where, Aliyu commissioner
single handedly endorse the Chief Servant and the youths there blasted
the moves descend on commissioner Garba Tagwai for his selfish
interest as his Gurara Youths call him so many un-printable names some
said the commissioner Tagwai is a non-indigene whose mother is Gwari
and father Hausa from Katsina State, a move that Gwari’s people from
Gurara vowed not to partner with him Tagwai that he is a political
Another political scenario in Niger state ahead of the 2015 general
election is how the Chief Servant allegedly set aside billions of
naira to use sameness style as was used to win the inconclusive Niger
East-Senatorial by-election where N20,000 naira was alleged to have
given to each electorates.
Some political pundits however blasted the Chief Servant of Niger
State that if that kind of monetary was used for just the seven month
senator and people are wallowing in abject poverty, the fear is that
Aliyu may allegedly waste the state treasury and milk it dry in the
name of going to the senate the senate that he may not be at victory.
The Development that took another system where the state PDP
stakeholder and Top PDP government Exco, gathered together at the
state PDP Secretariat along Maitubi bypass road and had expressed
fears ahead of the Niger state 2015 gubernatorial election where some
zonal PDP Chairman alleged the past mistakes and called on the
aggrieve party member to settle whatever difference before the full
political business of 2015 kick-start.
A credible source also told the Desert Herald that the only thing that
may give PDP victory in Niger state come 2015 is tied to Muazu
Babsangida Aliyu’s decision to abandon his Senatorial ambition.
