The end of the crisis rocking the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP seems not to be sighted as its Board of Trustees on Thursday sent out the immediate past National Chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff and the Chairman of the newly-constituted caretaker committee of the party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, during its ongoing meeting.
Sheriff arrived the venue of the meeting at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja at about 11:10 am and was followed five minutes later by Makarfi.
Upon their arrival, the chairman of the Board, Senator Jibril Wali announced that the board has a very important decision to take before the commencement of the meeting. At that point, reporters were asked to leave the hall.
Shortly after the announcement, both Sheriff and Makarfi were seen walking out of the hall even as the meeting continued.
