Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reshuffled some leadership of some Senate Standing Committees.
Senator Kabiru Marafa one of his critics and a member of Senate Unity Forum has been appointed chairman of the Petroleum (downstream) Committee.
He previously headed the Committee on National Population.
Senator Sulaiman Othman Hunkuyi has also be named as Chairman, Senate Committee on National Identify. He was previously, the Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Federal Character.
Also, Oluremi Tinubu, a key member of Unity Forum, was named chairperson of the Committee on Environment.
She was moved from Committee on Women Affairs.
Saraki made the announcement shortly before the senate adjourned on Thursday.
