The Super Eagles of Nigeria flew out of the country last night, ahead of their two friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg.
Interim head coach, Salisu Yusuf, led the delegation. Some of the players who were already in Nigeria on holidays – Musa Mohammed, Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiejile and Ogenyi Onazi – also made the trip.
Assistant coaches, Imama Amapakabo and Kennedy Boboye, finally received their entry visas to France and were able to join the delegation.
“The coaches ordered to fly out of Port Harcourt this afternoon to Abuja as they have finally been issued their visas,” an official informed AfricanFootball.
Officials on the trip include NFF technical committee chairman, Chris Green.
The Eagles play Mali on Friday, May 27.
